Sew it begins! Bread/Wet Bag

Sew It Begins — Your First Stitch Starts Here Sourdough era? New baby? Beach days incoming? This workshop was made for you. Learn to sew a bread bag or wet bag from scratch — no experience required. You’ll choose your lining: classic linen for the bread bakers keeping those loaves fresh, or waterproof PUL for the diaper bag crowd and beach tote people. We kick off with 30 minutes of sewing machine basics — parts, functions, and how not to break anything — then dive straight into your project. All fabrics come pre-cut so you can focus on the fun part: actually sewing. Plan for about 3 hours of hands-on making time. You’ll leave with something you actually made and actually need. Completely new to sewing? We recommend our Intro to Sewing class first for a deeper dive into the basics — but this is still a great starting point.
